Staff and Center Associates Jesse Silverstein Jesse D. Silverstein is Board Chair for the Colorado Brownfields Foundation and a Principal Partner with Development Research Partners, Inc. (Littleton, Colorado). Mr. Silverstein specializes in economic development research and real estate-related financial analysis. Mr. Silverstein’s prior experience includes Director at Equitable Real Estate Investment Management and Chief Appraiser for the Resolution Trust Corporation in Washington, D.C. Mr. Silverstein holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Delaware and a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Colorado where his fields of specialization were urban economics and environmental economics. He also holds an MAI professional designation in commercial real estate analysis from the Appraisal Institute. Jesse provides strategic brownfields consulting services and public policy analysis throughout State of Colorado and has presented at various conferences including USEPA Brownfields National Conferences, American Planning Association-CO Chapter, Western Regional Brownfields Conferences, and the Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute. With an interest in public-private partnering, he provides economic impact, fiscal impact, and real estate market analysis. He has authored A Brownfields Primer for Economic & Community Development, for the Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute/University of Denver College of Law, and has authored Brownfields related articles for Brownfield News, the Colorado Real Estate Journal, the Denver Business Journal, the Colorado Municipal League’s Municipalities magazine, Sustain, and various local business publications.
