Lauren Brooks is a graduate research assistant for the Center for Environmental Policy and Management.  She graduated with her Bachelors of Arts degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Louisville, and she received her Masters degree in sociology with a concentration in environmental sociology.  She is currently pursuing her PhD in Urban and Public Affairs from the University of Louisville.  Her research interests include environmental planning and land use, environmental justice, and environmental policy issues.
