Preston is currently pursuing his Masters of Urban Planning in the University of Louisville's School of Urban and Public Affairs with a specialization in Land Use and Environmental Planning. He received his BS in Natural Resource Conservation and Management with a minor in Geography from the University of Kentucky . Preston's interests include farmland, forest land, and natural area preservation, as well as the growth management policies used to conserve and preserve these lands from encroaching urban development. His hobbies include working on the family farm in Georgetown, Kentucky and traveling.
